Just shy of three years old, Kruise was born on February 7, 2019, boasting generations of performance Haflingers on her papers. She is sired by the Silver Classified stallion Alert RWF, who has produced numerous successful performance horses. Alert himself is sired by the influential Austrian-imported National Champion, Aristocrat TOF, the first stallion to achieve an AHR Gold Classification at inspection and Elite Status based on the inspection scores of his offspring. Kruise’s dam is Kruise Control MMS, a daughter of the incredible mover, Silver Classified M.T. Marvellon ROA, and out of the great producing Austrian-bred mare, Karolina GF. Karolina GF is also Silver Classified, a sale-topper and proven performance horse, boasting a win at the prestigious Dressage at Devon breed class at 19 years of age.

Kruise inherited the powerful and lofty gaits found throughout her lineage, as well as long clean legs, a strong topline, and a nicely balanced conformation with a strong hindquarter. Her commanding presence is clearly eye-catching, and as just a yearling she was the top selling horse at the 2020 Indiana Haflinger Sale. Not just a pretty face, however, her expressive movement is beautifully offset by her quiet and friendly demeanor. Curious and inquisitive, she is easy to handle and calmly takes new things in stride.

Kruise is healthy and up to date on everything, and stands politely for vet and farrier. She’s barefoot and kept on a six week trim cycle and her teeth were floated in November. She lives happily in or out, and while she’s currently stalled at night she’s also been kept on 24/7 turnout. She’s been lightly started with ground work and basic lunging concepts, has been exposed to various in-hand trail obstacles, and isn’t bothered by tack, blankets, or anything else you’d want to throw over her. She’s a tall filly, and will easily mature over 15 hands.
